Black River Audubon Society is excited to participate in the county-wide crowdsourcing event, Connect to a Cause. Your donation helps in three important ways:

  • 25% is placed into our endowment, ensuring the long-term stability of our work.

  • 75% is added directly to our current budget, funding projects like nest box installations, habitat protection, and monitoring of bluebird populations.

  • Thanks to generous local businesses, your total gift may be increased by up to 18%, multiplying your impact.

This year’s goal is $2,500.

With over 500 members, Black River Audubon has been active in the community with a wide variety of activities, concentrating on education, conservation, and advocacy.

The mission of the Black River Audubon Society is to promote conservation and restoration of ecosystems, focusing on birds and other wildlife, through advocacy and education.

How to Participate

We are thrilled to inform you that we’re participating in Connect to a Cause, a 12-hour crowdfunding campaign hosted by the Community Foundation of Lorain County. And guess what? We need your help to make it a success!

On September 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., you can support our cause by donating through Connect to a Cause. Whether it’s cash, check, or online, every donation counts and will allow us a chance to receive additional bonus dollars. Plus, it’s an excellent opportunity to show your support for our mission and make a real difference in our community.
