Wyandot Wetland Meadows Preserve is part of the East Sandusky Bay Metropark in Erie County, Ohio. It is composed mostly of wet meadows, making it excellent habitat for migrating sparrows and other grassland species. There is a long fencerow down the center of the property and a small woodlot in the northeast corner. Near the woodlot is a small viewing platform which should be the highlight of an October trip as it overlooks the back bay portion of Sandusky Bay and should provide good views of migrating waterfowl and raptors. There is very little elevation change to the property but the trail can be a bit rough due to its ruts and vegetative clumps.
